Some fans of Gran Turismo games basically felt like Polyphony Digital is conceding defeat to Forza Motorsport 3 as GT5 is delayed again. I offer my own thoughts as to what I think of people and gaming media "conceding defeat" to Forza 3 or even "forfeiting victory" to Forza 3. The matter of Forza Motorsport director, Dan Greenawalt saying (indirect quote) "I am a fan of Kazunori Yamauchi and the Gran Turismo series, but he's never done anything for me in return." Because of Gran Turismo 5 delayed (and even with the "we can release GT5 any time we want" quote), some feel that by virtue of continually working on the game, regardless of how Gran Turismo 5 ends up when eventually released, that Forza 3 is the better game while GT5 is still "delayed in the pits," according to one fan site online.
